I was having my old concrete driveway replaced with new pavers. A problematic tree had grown directly against the edge, with roots spreading underneath and causing significant cracking. The tree needed to be removed before the new pavers could be installed.
I had scheduled another company for the removal, but they canceled that morning due to equipment issues. With the paver crew set to arrive at 8 a.m. the following day, I was left scrambling. I contacted more than six different tree services and was turned down by each one due to scheduling, pricing, or travel distance.
A referral led me to Stumps & Roots. They responded immediately, arrived within an hour, and provided the most competitive quote I received. Their team completed the removal efficiently, cleanly, and with excellent care. The job was finished in roughly one hour, and the site was left neat and ready for the pavers.
I was especially impressed by their professionalism, calm demeanor, and genuine empathy during a very stressful situation. They understood the time pressure I faced and handled everything with courtesy and expertise.

Stumps and Roots is a terrific, highly professional company. I called them in the morning and Isaac was out in the afternoon to give me a quote. His estimate to grind two stumps was very fair and he set to work immediately. He set up protection to guard some glass doors from any flying chips and cleaned both work areas after completion. I am very impressed and will use them again in the near future for other work. A+!

Stumps and Roots were absolutely amazing! I reached out to ask for a quote to have a bush removed, and they made the whole process so easy. They came out the same day, gave us a fair and very reasonable quote, and even offered to do the job right then and there — which was such a great surprise! They finished the job in about 20 minutes and did an excellent job. Super professional, fast, friendly, and affordable. We had stump grinding done yesterday by Stumps and Roots Company and couldn’t be happier. The owner, Brannen, was great to work with—very responsive and reasonably priced. I sent him photos, he quoted it right away, and he had a truck out the very next morning. Amazing turnaround.
Oscar was the technician who did the work, and you can tell immediately he’s extremely experienced. He used a remote-controlled, powerful stump-grinding machine and was able to grind a large ficus stump down to the depth we needed so we can replant vegetation. Even more impressive, he maneuvered the equipment precisely around nearby palms without damaging them.
Highly recommend Stumps and Roots Company if you want fast scheduling, fair pricing, and expert work.

Isaac showed up on time to take a look at a small job. He offered to take care of it on the spot, while I needed to leave the house for an appointment. It was no problem, he finished the job (well done) sent me an invoice later and I’m left happy with the service (at a fair price). It’s nice to have people who do what they say / when they say…I recommend!
