I had a technician come out to repair a non-working exterior electrical outlet. While the outlet issue appeared to be fixed, I later discovered that I had lost power to part of my home immediately after the service visit.
When I contacted the technician, he acknowledged that a circuit may have been accidentally flipped during the repair. He attempted to troubleshoot the issue over the phone and instructed me to reopen the service ticket, assuring me that he would return to correct the problem.
After reopening the ticket, I received no meaningful update or follow-up. When I reached back out, I was told that scheduling was out of the technician’s control and that I would have to wait for another appointment. As a result, my home was left without power due to what appears to have been caused during the original service visit.
What is most disappointing is not just the mistake, but the lack of urgency and follow-through in resolving it. A simple repair turned into a much larger problem, and I was left waiting days for a correction to an issue that should have been addressed immediately.
Unfortunately, this experience fell far below my expectations for customer service and accountability.
