Jemison is OMG amazing!!!!! He gets down to the nitty gritty, yes, I said nitty gritty. But seriously, I have been having so many issues with my neck and shoulders. Of course , one session will not fix the entire problem but after this first session, my body is NOTICEABLY different. Do NOT book with Jemison. I booked a Deep tissue/Sports/Corrective after seeing positive reviews and straight off the bat he started hitting on me. I did not feel comfortable at all when he started the massage so ended up leaving.

I did not plan on getting bodywork tonight. I definitely did not plan on feeling like a new woman. Jemison brought his table to our UFC Gym vendor night and offered short sample sessions. I hopped on mostly out of curiosity and because my arm has been wrecked for days after a nasty hematoma. What I did not realize was that the pain had quietly crept into my shoulder too. Within seconds of me laying down, Jemison pointed out something no one else had caught. My shoulders were literally hovering about three inches off the table from tension alone. No exaggeration. He worked on me for about 15 minutes, using a very unconventional technique that I have never experienced before. It was precise, intentional, and incredibly effective. He explained exactly how the trauma and tension from my bicep had traveled up and locked my shoulder without me even realizing it. By the time he was done, my shoulders were fully relaxed and resting on the table. The shoulder pain was gone. The bicep pain from the hematoma was noticeably reduced. I stood up feeling like an entirely different person. This was not a feel good massage. This was corrective, intelligent, and honestly impressive work. Jemison sees what others miss and knows exactly what to do with it. If you train hard, live stressed, carry old injuries, or think you’re fine when your body clearly disagrees, you need to get on his table. I walked away feeling reset.

I had a very traumatic injury to both my shoulders. After an intense rotator cuff repair, with reattachments to my bicep and tricep tendons, Jemison's incredible hands are getting me through the recovery. Having to wear a sling is creating tension across my back and into my neck and the surgeon has allowed Jemison to work on me. I don't know how I would get through this ordeal without him.
